Papaya Avocado Smoothie


Super easy and delicious! A real knock out for such a simple drink! Papaya Avocado Smoothie has vitamins A, Bs, C, E, K, folic acid, anti-oxidants, flavonoids, fibre and mono-unsaturated fats that reduce LDL cholesterol. Loaded with potassium; much needed by all ten trillion cells in the body! Papayas have more vitamin C than oranges, pound for pound. This smoothie is anti-inflammatory and helps to reduce incidences of ulcers. For those who wonder what to do with papaya seeds, they are edible and are anti-parasitic, analgesic (reduces pain) and can reduce stomach aches. All you need is a blender and two minutes to make this very satisfying drink!

Avocado Smoothie

Attributes:  Raw, vegan, dairy free, satiating                                                                                              Equipment:  blender

2 Hass avocados, skinned & pitted
1/2 large papaya, skinned & seeds aside
1-2 T maple syrup

Directions:  Blend all ingredients together until smooth; serve immediately for maximum potency.”

Optional:  3 Ataulfo mangoes can replace papaya. Maple syrup is optional.”
