Raw Chili Soup

Singing Hot! Hot! Hot! The taste buds can be hopping to the flavors of this rawsome vegan, dairy free soup after a few minutes of preparation! Great for short notice meals. Stimulates digestion, releases endorphins (makes you feel relaxed) and delivers maximum taste! Bon Appetit.

 

Rawsome Chile Soup                                         

Attributes:  raw, vegan, gluten free and dairy free, bright and vitalizing
Equipment:  Food processor or blender

Ingredients:

2 red bell peppers
1 red chile, seeded, top discarded
1 T coconut oil
1 green onion, chopped
6 medium tomatoes
2 T garlic, minced
2 T cilantro
¼ tsp thyme
¾-1 T Himalayan salt, black pepper to taste
                                         

Directions:  Add all ingredients to blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Longer blending warms the soup without denaturing. Serve with favourite garnish. Flavourful! “
                                 

Optional:  Adding ¼ C coconut milk will create a creamy texture and reduce heat.
                                               

Tips:  Chiles contain capsaicin, a compound that reduces itching and inflammation in the body; it also causes the brain to release endorphins (euphoria effects) in response to the heat. Chillies are a good source of Vit. C, B6, potassium & magnesium
