The Juicy Dandelion

The-Juicy-Dandelion

Juicy Dandelion is one of the best detoxifying drinks in the kitchen! Did I mention potent and palatable? Truly a drink that can release toxins while it helps nourish your cells. Dandelions have long since been used to cleanse the liver organ. The leaves are bitter providing some support with balancing blood glucose levels and are good for reducing cravings for sweets. You could simply do a juice shot of pure dandelions, however this low calorie dandelion juice is sweetened and diluted to take off the bitter edge. Juicy Dandelion helps to flush out toxins and lavish you with nourishing vitamins, anti-oxidants and minerals while keeping you hydrated. Contains vitamins Bs, C, K, minerals phosphorus, magnesium, biotin, copper and silica. If you are picking fresh wild dandelions the flowers can be juiced as well for their lecithin content. You will need approximately 4 cups of wild dandelion leaves. Press the leaves down in the measuring cup for accuracy. Grocery stores often carry dandelion bunches in the fresh produce area. Juicy Dandelion juice helps control cholesterol levels, contains chlorophyll and anti-oxidants. Cheers to a Juicy Dandelion and the liver organ performing over 400 different processes every minute!
